- App ID 932747118
- $2.99 one-time purchase

Available only on the App Store. Check the App Store page for the US reference price and device compatibility. Verify your account region and the official listing before purchasing.
Storefront & Account Region
Shadowrocket is not available in the mainland China storefront. If you can’t find it, first check the region of the account currently used by the App Store rather than trying different search terms. Your Apple ID country or region determines which storefront you see, including the apps and payment methods available there. Your physical location, device language, and storefront region are separate settings.
To check, go to Settings → Apple ID → Media & Purchases → Country/Region. Follow the on-screen prompts to review your account information and confirm the current region. The confirmation steps may vary slightly between system versions, so follow what appears on your device. In particular, distinguish the Apple ID signed in on the device from the account used for Media & Purchases. App purchases belong to the account that made them.
To find the option for changing your region, follow the same path to Country/Region and review the available country or region settings. Whether you can change it depends on your account status and Apple’s requirements. You may need to resolve account balance, active subscriptions, pending transactions, or Family Sharing settings first. A region change is not guaranteed to be available, and you should never enter inaccurate account information just to make a purchase.
The button on this page links to Shadowrocket’s US App Store product page. Being able to open the webpage does not guarantee that the storefront you’re signed into can sell the app; check the message shown after opening it in the App Store on your device. If it says the app isn’t available in your region, return to your account information and verify the region. If purchasing is available, check the three verification details in the next section, then confirm the price and payment information.
Verify the Official Listing
Check the developer name, official icon, and app ID together. Use the app name only as a search clue.
Check the Developer, Icon, and App ID
On the App Store product page, confirm that the app is named Shadowrocket and the developer is Shadow Launch Technology Limited. For results with identical or similar names, don’t rely on search ranking, name similarity, or keywords in the description. Open the product page and check each detail there; don’t make a decision from the search result preview alone.
The official icon is a blue-and-purple outlined rocket on a white background, matching the icon shown on this page. The icon is a useful visual check, but a similar-looking design alone isn’t enough. Compare it with the developer name, then verify the app ID in the product page URL. Purchase only when all three match.
Shadowrocket’s app ID is 932747118. The App Store button on this page links to a URL ending in id932747118. The app ID distinguishes products with similar names; a name variation or a similar-looking icon is no substitute for checking the ID. Before confirming payment, review the product page once more to avoid mistaking another listing after leaving the search results.
What the App Looks Like After Installation
The two images alongside this text are official screenshots uploaded by the developer to the App Store. Home shows the connection switch, Global Routing, Connectivity Test, and the SERVER group; Add Server shows the server entry fields. They illustrate the app’s layout—they don’t mean a new installation will include the servers shown or have a working connection.
The interface may vary with the device, system display, and app updates. Not Connected is text shown in the screenshot at the time it was taken; it does not indicate the connection status of your device. Verify the official listing using the three App Store details. If you have installed the app and are unsure, check its App Store product page and purchase history rather than relying on a button’s position.
Installing on iPhone
Check Compatibility and Payment Account
Open the App Store button on this page from your iPhone. After verifying the official listing, check the product page’s compatibility section. Follow the system requirements listed on the App Store page; don’t rely on numbers in tutorial screenshots or older descriptions. If your device doesn’t meet the listed requirements, address compatibility first rather than assuming the purchase failed.
Before confirming payment, check the Apple ID in use by the App Store and the displayed price. The purchase will be recorded under that account; you’ll need the same account to restore it on a future device. Once you confirm payment with the system prompt, wait for the download to finish, then open Shadowrocket from the Home Screen. If the download stalls, first read the App Store message and check your network, available storage, and account status.
First Launch and VPN Configuration Permission
Opening the app for the first time does not mean you’re connected. Home is the starting point for viewing the connection switch and server details. After installing the app, prepare your own subscription or server details. Get your subscription link from your service provider and check that the details are complete before entering them. Your app purchase receipt is not a server password, and purchase history does not belong in Add Server.
The first time you enable a connection, the system may ask for permission to add a VPN configuration. This system prompt is required to establish a connection; it is not a request to purchase the app again. Confirm that Shadowrocket initiated the action, then follow the system prompts. Canceling may prevent the connection from being established. Don’t delete other network configurations in an attempt to troubleshoot, especially on managed devices; check the device’s management requirements first.
After importing your details, check the selected server and Global Routing before enabling the connection. Turning on the connection switch and successfully completing a request are two separate checks. If you get a timeout, check your local network, server settings, and routing mode separately. Continue with the setup guide; for specific issues, see the troubleshooting manual. A connection failure does not mean you need to buy the client again.
iPad and Device Compatibility
One Purchase for iPhone and iPad
A single purchase with an Apple ID lets you install Shadowrocket from your purchase history on compatible iPhone and iPad devices. If you already purchased it on your iPhone, first make sure the iPad account used for Media & Purchases is the same, then look for the app in your App Store account’s Purchased section. If the iPad temporarily shows a price, don’t confirm a second payment right away; first rule out a different account or an unverified purchase history.
The available screen space and portrait or landscape layout may differ between iPad and iPhone, but interface labels such as Home, Add Server, Config, and Settings are still useful landmarks. Finding a feature by its name is more reliable than copying its exact position from a screenshot. A wider screen doesn’t change what configuration parameters mean; enter details such as Host and Port exactly as provided with your existing server.
Installing the app and transferring its configuration are separate tasks. After installing it on your iPad, check that your server details are available and that the correct Config and Global Routing are selected; don’t assume all settings have synced automatically from another device. If you import your Subscribe link again, make sure it came from your own service provider and avoid showing full authentication details in public screenshots. Check the App Store page for iPad system requirements.
Mac, Apple TV, and Apple Vision
The compatibility section on the same App Store product page also lists Mac, Apple TV, and Apple Vision. Whether the app works on a specific device, supports Universal Purchase, or requires a particular system version is determined by the App Store page. Check the full requirements for your device rather than assuming compatibility from the device category alone.
The App Store is still the place to get the app for these devices. This page focuses on purchasing and first launch on iPhone and iPad; the steps for other devices may not match the phone interface. To use Shadowrocket on another compatible device, check the same product and your purchase status in that device’s App Store, then follow the interface shown there to configure it.
Device Migration and Purchase Restoration
Restore Your Purchase First, Then Your Configuration
When you switch devices or reinstall the app, use the Apple ID that made the original purchase. Go to App Store → Account → Purchased, find Shadowrocket, and download it again without paying a second time. Account pages may group purchases differently across system versions, so follow what appears on your device. Look for the app’s purchase history, not a list of monthly subscriptions in device settings.
If you can’t find the app in your purchase history, first check the account used for Media & Purchases—not just the account shown at the top of device settings. Then check whether the purchase is hidden and whether the original transaction actually went through. Viewing the product page, starting a download, or receiving a payment failure message doesn’t prove that the purchase succeeded. Check the App Store transaction and purchase history.
If the product page shows a price again, pause before paying. Check the original purchase account and history, and confirm whether the storefront region changed or you’re signed in with a different account. If the App Store continues to report an account or transaction issue, use its account support options. Repeatedly tapping the purchase button won’t restore purchase access to the original account or resolve regional availability.
Reinstalling Does Not Restore Server Details
Once you’ve restored the app, set up your personal configuration. On the new device, import your own subscription or server details, check the selected server, Config, and Global Routing, and follow the system prompts to authorize the VPN configuration. Get your subscription link from your service provider. If the link no longer works, check your existing service details instead of buying Shadowrocket again.
Before deleting the app, save any configuration details you’ll need to restore, and keep in mind that they may include passwords or authentication information. Restoring a purchase gets the client back; it does not guarantee that local configuration, history, or device permissions will also be restored. Family Sharing availability depends on the App Store listing and your account settings. Don’t confuse restoring a purchase with one Apple ID and sharing purchases with family members.
Price and One-Time Purchase
One-Time Purchase; Confirm the Price at Checkout
Shadowrocket is a closed-source commercial app, sold as a one-time purchase on the App Store with no monthly client fee. The US reference price is $2.99; other storefronts display local currency. The price shown on the App Store page and at payment confirmation is the actual amount. The US price on this page explains the purchase model; it does not replace the checkout price for your account.
The purchase and restoration process works as follows: the purchase stays with the Apple ID used for the transaction, and that account can download the app again from Purchased on compatible devices. App updates are delivered through the App Store. You can check app update settings on your device or look for available updates in the store. Refer to the App Store listing for update details; this page does not indicate the current app version.
One-Time App Purchase ≠ Service Plan
A one-time app purchase ≠ a service plan. Buying Shadowrocket gives you the right to use the client; it doesn’t include a server address, subscription link, or working connection. This site does not provide or sell servers or subscriptions, or recommend service providers. The instructions assume you already have your own subscription or server details.
If you already have server details, import them into the app, then set up Config and Global Routing as needed. If your details are missing, your subscription has expired, or the server parameters are incorrect, check your existing service information. These are separate from whether your App Store purchase succeeded. Keeping the two separate helps prevent mistaking a connection issue for a need to pay for the client again.
This is the official Shadowrocket manual for verifying the app listing, purchasing it from the App Store, and restoring a purchase. Before configuring the app, read the first-use guide. If you’ve imported your details but can’t connect, use the subscription troubleshooting guide and DNS troubleshooting guide. When asking for help publicly, hide passwords, full subscription links, and account details; include only the error message needed to explain the issue.
Purchase and Download FAQ
Why can’t I find Shadowrocket on the App Store?
Shadowrocket is not available in the mainland China storefront. Your Apple ID country or region determines which storefront content you can see. First check your account region in Settings → Apple ID → Media & Purchases → Country/Region, then open the App Store product page linked here to check availability. Your device language does not change your storefront region.
The product page opens, but I can’t complete a purchase or download. What should I do?
Check the specific App Store message first, then verify your account region, payment status, device compatibility, available storage, and network connection. If you already have a purchase, check your purchase history before trying again. Follow the system requirements listed on the App Store page.
Do I have to pay again when I get a new device or reinstall the app?
Use the Apple ID that made the original purchase. In App Store → Account → Purchased, find Shadowrocket and download it again without paying a second time. Restoring the app does not restore its configuration; you’ll still need to check and import your own subscription or server details on the new device.
Can I install Shadowrocket on my iPad if I bought it on my iPhone?
Yes. Once purchased with an Apple ID, Shadowrocket can be redownloaded from your purchase history on compatible iPhone and iPad devices. Make sure the account used for Media & Purchases on your iPad matches the original purchase account. Check the App Store page for system requirements.
Can I install Shadowrocket on Mac, Apple TV, or Apple Vision?
The compatibility section on the same App Store product page lists Mac, Apple TV, and Apple Vision. Check the App Store page for device compatibility, Universal Purchase availability, and system requirements. The App Store remains the only place to get the app.
The app interface is in English. Which items should I learn first?
Start with Home, Add Server, Global Routing, Config, and Settings. Home shows connection and server details; Add Server is for entering existing server information; Global Routing lets you choose a routing mode. This manual keeps the interface labels in English; follow the setup guide for step-by-step instructions.
