Terms of Use

These terms apply to the Shadowrocket Community website, official user manual, and usage instructions. Please read the conditions and limits of responsibility below before using this site.

1. Scope and guidance

This site is the Shadowrocket official website and user manual. It provides guidance on verifying the genuine app, purchasing and installing it, importing an existing subscription, configuring rules, and troubleshooting. These terms govern access to and use of this site’s content. App purchases, payments, and use are also subject to applicable App Store terms and app-related agreements.

The steps in this manual are intended as a guide and do not replace prompts in the app itself. If instructions differ from the current interface, check the in-app wording and the App Store page first. Prices, compatibility, system requirements, and purchase conditions are as stated on the App Store page.

2. App purchases and service boundaries

Shadowrocket is a paid, closed-source app for Apple platforms, primarily used on iPhone and iPad. It is available exclusively on the App Store. Before purchasing, verify the developer, Shadow Launch Technology Limited, the official app icon, and app ID 932747118. See How to verify the genuine app for details.

A one-time app purchase does not include a network service plan. Purchasing the app grants the right to use the client; it does not include server or network services. This site does not provide, sell, or recommend nodes or subscription services. Instructions assume you already have your own subscription or server details. Obtain subscription links from your service provider.

Payments, refunds, restoring purchases, and eligibility are subject to App Store rules and its actual decisions. This site cannot handle transactions on your behalf or guarantee their outcomes.

3. Lawful use and information security

Users must comply with the laws and regulations that apply where they are located and to their activities, as well as the terms governing any networks and services they access. Do not use this site’s guidance or the app to engage in illegal activity, violate others’ rights, access systems without authorization, or disrupt the normal operation of networks or services.

Users must ensure they are authorized to use any server details, subscription links, and configuration files they enter, and assess their source and intended scope. Subscription links, passwords, and configurations may contain authentication details. Before troubleshooting, redact sensitive information; do not publish it publicly or send it to anyone who does not need it.

4. Availability and liability

Connection performance depends on factors such as the local network, server status, configuration, and system settings. This site does not guarantee uninterrupted connectivity, a particular speed, or that a configuration will work in every environment. Diagnostic guidance is intended to help narrow down an issue and does not guarantee a fix.

Before changing, importing, or deleting a configuration, users should save any necessary backup and review the changes. To the extent permitted by law, this site is not liable for unavailability, data loss, or indirect losses arising from the use of its guidance, configuration changes, service interruptions, or changes to external services.

These limitations do not exclude or restrict liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law, or affect consumer rights provided by law.

5. Trademarks and content rights

The Shadowrocket trademark, app, and related intellectual property belong to its developer or the respective rights holders. Rights to the official app icon and interface screenshots used on this site belong to their respective rights holders. Displaying them on this site does not transfer any rights to the trademark, app, or images.

The text and page content in this manual are protected by applicable law. When quoting them, credit the source and retain the necessary context; do not present the guidance as a guarantee of purchase or connection outcomes. Copying, republication, or commercial use beyond what is permitted by law requires permission from the relevant rights holder.

6. Changes to these terms and issue resolution

These terms may be revised to reflect legal requirements, changes to the scope of the content, or changes in how the site operates. Revisions and the month of the latest update will be posted on this page. Revised terms apply to use of the site after they take effect. Significant changes affecting users’ rights will be clearly noted here.

If you have questions about a specific operation, see Troubleshooting or the user guide, and follow the steps on the page to check the issue. If any provision cannot be enforced under applicable law, the remaining provisions will continue to apply to the extent permitted by law.
